Vivet Therapeutics is pleased to announce the presentation of two scientific posters at the 33rd Annual Congress of the European Society of Gene and Cell Therapy (ESGCT), taking place in Hamburg, Germany, from 27 to 30 October 2026. The ESGCT Congress is a leading international forum for researchers, clinicians and industry partners advancing gene and cell therapy.
The presentations address a critical challenge in AAV-based gene therapy: pre-existing neutralizing antibodies (NAbs), which may limit patient eligibility and treatment success.
Poster 705: Naturally immunised AAV patients: modeling responder rates and treatable populations using VTX-PID (imlifidase) dose-range data to achieve non-inhibitory AAV neutralizing antibody titers
Jean-Philippe Combal et al.
This work explores how VTX-PID may help reduce inhibitory AAV NAbs in naturally immunized patients, supporting a more precise understanding of responder rates and potentially expanding the population eligible for AAV gene therapy.
Poster 704: Prevalence of adeno-associated virus type 3B neutralizing antibodies in cohorts of healthy donors and Wilson’s disease adults
Celine Bouquet et al.
This study provides valuable insights into the prevalence of AAV3B NAbs in healthy donors and adults with Wilson’s disease. Such data are important for informing vector selection, clinical trial design and patient-screening strategies for future gene therapy programs.
Why this matters
Together, these posters contribute to a growing body of evidence aimed at overcoming AAV immunity, one of the key barriers to broader access to gene therapy. By better characterizing NAb prevalence and the potential of VTX-PID to achieve non-inhibitory antibody titers, this research may support improved patient identification, treatment planning and clinical development strategies.
We look forward to engaging with colleagues, clinicians, researchers and industry partners during the congress. If you are attending ESGCT 2026, we would be delighted to meet you, discuss these data and explore opportunities for collaboration.
See you in Hamburg!
